Mid-January brings the annual showcase for upgrading the homestead at the largest home and garden show in Arizona, held at the Arizona State Fairgrounds. The southwest flower and garden show has been combined with the home show and offers exposition of flowers, gardening and landscaping, including workshops and exhibits that showcase the beauty and variety of Southwest flora.

Italian American Festival

Kokopelli Winery and Bistro is saluting all Italian Americans on January 28 through 30.
The festival will include: Home-style Italian food and desserts, live Italian music all weekend, bocce ball and the Pantera Car Club of Arizona will display their rare Italian made sports cars. Discounted wine tasting and Italian inspired wines by Kokopelli Winery will be featured.

PGA Tour - Phoenix Open

Played in North Scottsdale and annually sporting the largest crowds on the PGA TOUR, the Waste Management Open has gained legendary status on TOUR for being unlike any other golf tournament.
The Tournament Players Club in Scottsdale is the site for this annual golf tournament held during January and February.

March Events

Ostrich Festival

For three fun-filled days in March, Tumbleweed Park in Chandler Arizona will resound with music, excitement, and laughter. Two stages spotlight a diverse sampling of great music, while a huge midway provides excitement to thousands of festival fans. Ostrich races complete with human jockeys are a sight unique to Chandler! Like any world class festival, all kinds of food will be available from the traditional fair favorites to Ostrich burgers.

West of Western Culinary Festival

In mid-March, the West of Western Culinary Festival features a Grand Tasting with more than 50 Arizona chefs redefining the image of Western cuisine, 20 wineries, cooking demos and classes, and boutique and heirloom food items, all hosted by Phoenix Art Museum in the Sculpture Garden and Great Hall, prepaid reservations required.

Festival of the West

Westworld in Scottsdale Family was important in the old west and that focus is carried on at this festival. Friday is kids day and there are plenty of great children's activities held every day at the Festival.

Aloha Festival

Created by a community seen as a small island in the ocean of other cultures composing Phoenix and Arizona, the festival at the Heritage & Science Park has mushroomed in popularity over the past decade to become a showcase of Polynesian traditions in the desert.

Arizona Diamondbacks Baseball

Festival of Lights

Festival Of Lights Wine & Microbrew Tasting Festival !
This event always occurs the first Saturday in June at The Foothills Golf Club. It's a fun, social evening where 1,000 adults gather to take in 50 wine & beer varieties from Alliance Beverage Company. A competitive Silent Auction of 100+ items accompanies the event.

Festival Of Lights Charity Golf Tournament !

Our Charity Golf Tournament occurs on the first Saturday in June at The Foothills Golf Club and is operated in partnership with the Ahwatukee Kiwanis Club. It's a shotgun scramble that tees off at 7:30am and includes nearly $20K in prizes.

Made in the Shade Beer Festival

More than 30 breweries are represented in mid to late June, as well as food vendors and live performers, at the Coconino County Fairgrounds in Fort Tuthill County Park, Flagstaff, where visitors can sample beers and enjoy live bands.

Grape Train Escape, Tequila Sunset, Starlight Tours

Select Saturday evenings feature our popular Starlight Tours and Tequila Sunset Limited trains while the Grape Train Escapes (wine-tasting trains) highlight select Friday evenings throughout the summer. Each one enhances the lure of this unique route under illuminated evening skies.
These trains depart during the light of day; reach Perkinsville as the sun bids farewell with a vibrant Arizona sunset, and return when the nocturnal beauty of the Canyon awakens.

Arizona State Fair

Family fun for all. Hundreds of thousands of residents from across the state flock to the fair each year to enjoy its new foods, exhibits, and entertainment offerings. A fall tradition, with a great mix of traditional and cutting edge entertainment and exhibits with national concerts, rodeos, racing, livestock, homemaking arts, rides, and taste treats.

Oktoberfest Tempe Town Lake

On the first weekend of October for more than three decades at Tempe Beach Park, Tempe's fall festival features live music, Bavarian beer gardens, Beers of the world, non-stop polka, bratwurst, strudel, garage band competition, giant carnival and more. John Madden football tournament, lots of video games and arts & crafts for the kids, Splash Playground and Regensburg Bounceland.

Old World Oktoberfest

In early to mid-October, downtown Phoenix hosts an authentic Bavarian Oktoberfest, produced by the Arizona Center for Germanic Cultures, with live Bavarian music, dancing, beer maidens and traditional Bavarian food.

November Events

Arizona International Auto Show

During the last week in November, the new cars, crossovers, sport-utility vehicles, trucks and other vehicles for next year, including pre-production models and experimental vehicles are displayed at the Phoenix Convention Center, where visitors can look under the hood, sit behind the wheel, and get a good view of the whole market.

Fountain Hills Festival of Arts & Crafts

The Fountain Festival of Arts & Crafts is held in the month of November and features nearly 480 artists and artisans and gourmet food provisioners. Over 200,000 visitors are attracted to this event to do their holiday shopping, purchase art and enjoy good food and entertainment. Many of the artists in this fair feature unique holiday themed ornaments that have become family tradition.

ZooLights at the Phoenix Zoo

All aglow as one of the southwest’s largest holiday light displays, ZooLights bathes grounds of the Phoenix Zoo in yuletide cheer with some two million lights and dozens of animated displays. Tickets go on sale in early October, and the Zoo closes in mid-November to prepare for ZooLight’s Thanksiving unveiling. ZooLights is closed on Christmas.

Festival Of Lights Kickoff Party !
Always occurring the Saturday after Thanksgiving, this family festival is Ahwatukee's largest event in which 15,000 people come together in Desert Foothills Park to celebrate the "kick-off" of the holiday season and the Chandler Blvd light display.


December Events

Arizona National Livestock Show

The Arizona National Livestock Show is the largest show of its kind in the Southwest, an annual Phoenix tradition since 1948 with a reputation as a prestigious Show with warm hospitality.

Holiday in a Bow

From after Thanksgiving through Christmas Day, Harkins Theatres throughout the Phoenix area partner with Free Arts of Arizona to provide decorative bows made from movie trailers for sale in support of local children's programs.

ZooLights at the Phoenix Zoo

All aglow as one of the southwest’s largest holiday light displays, ZooLights bathes grounds of the Phoenix Zoo in yuletide cheer with some two million lights and dozens of animated displays.
